Moon over Horsham

Hi there,

I'm going through a small reawakening with my photography, now that I've gotten over the "hump" of a slow computer with outdated software trying to tackle files that would have taken up a box of 1.44" floppies 15 years ago. Maybe two boxes. It was so frustrating that I didn't want to take pictures anymore, and that wasn't working for me.

Everything seems to be running smooth as silk, and I'm enjoying it again. I'm going to try and make this a regular thing. We'll see.

This image isn't new, but I wanted to see how it turned out with the new processing technique of Adobe Lightroom 3 (which I use almost exclusively now - I don't remember the last time I ran Photoshop). And I am testing the new watermarking ability. The Comic Sans looks cheesy though, don't you think?

I'm amazed at this image because it was just a casual snapshot of the moon with the new Canon 5D Mark II with my 200 mm lens. This camera and me are going to have fun together in the UK this July...

Winter in Princeton

I was introduced to Christine & Marc by my good friend Christina Hill, who is also an amazing wedding planner. Some clients opt for a series of seasonal engagement shoots the year before their wedding. Winter's turn had come, and while we just barely missed the snow (which happened later that night), I still think we captured the spirit of the season.

Princeton campus is full of incredible arcitecture -- archways, pillars, and gothic buildings -- and made for the perfect location shoot. Here are a few of my favorites from the day - I hope you enjoy them!

Happy New Year!

A new year, a new president, a new puppy or two, and a new
website. The kinks are still being worked out, and there are still holes to fill, but the site is live and looking good. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I will be trying to update the blog a bit more frequently as well.

The site was built in Flash CS3. I have just learned how to use flash over the last 2 weeks, so expect more fine-tuning the site as I progress in my skills.
By the way, you can say hello to Buttercup. She and her brother Wesley are the latest additions to our family. This was taken a few months back, when we first got them. She's got a bigger scshaut, but still has those puppy dog eyes. Essential for how she gets away with everything. Almost.
