Moon over Horsham

Hi there,

I'm going through a small reawakening with my photography, now that I've gotten over the "hump" of a slow computer with outdated software trying to tackle files that would have taken up a box of 1.44" floppies 15 years ago. Maybe two boxes. It was so frustrating that I didn't want to take pictures anymore, and that wasn't working for me.

Everything seems to be running smooth as silk, and I'm enjoying it again. I'm going to try and make this a regular thing. We'll see.

This image isn't new, but I wanted to see how it turned out with the new processing technique of Adobe Lightroom 3 (which I use almost exclusively now - I don't remember the last time I ran Photoshop). And I am testing the new watermarking ability. The Comic Sans looks cheesy though, don't you think?

I'm amazed at this image because it was just a casual snapshot of the moon with the new Canon 5D Mark II with my 200 mm lens. This camera and me are going to have fun together in the UK this July...
